Install LotPress Sync

Check the requirements

• WordPress 6.3 or newer and PHP 8.0 or newer.
• An active LotPress Inventory installation.
• An administrator account with permission to install plugins.
• A complete CSV or XML inventory feed with a stable identifier for every vehicle.
• PHP XMLReader and SimpleXML when importing XML.
• Outbound HTTPS or SFTP access when retrieving a remote feed.

Each source file may be up to 25 MB and contain no more than 2,500 records. For a new inventory on conventional hosting, keep the first synchronous import at or below 1,000 vehicles.

Install and activate Sync

1. Install and activate LotPress Inventory first.
2. Download the licensed lotpress-sync.zip package and keep it compressed.
3. Open Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin.
4. Choose the ZIP, select Install Now, and activate LotPress Sync.
5. Open Inventory → Sync.

Keep the license private. An active license provides verified Sync and LotPress Manager updates plus product support for one site.

Before the first import

Create a current database and uploads backup. Ask the feed provider whether the file is a complete inventory snapshot, which field is the permanent vehicle identifier, how photos are supplied, and how often the file changes.
