Add your first vehicle

Create the record

1. Open Inventory → Add Vehicle.
2. Enter the year, make, model, and trim. LotPress uses these values to keep the listing title consistent.
3. Add the VIN and stock number.
4. Choose the condition: New, Used, or Certified.
5. Enter the selling price, optional MSRP or list price, mileage, colors, engine, transmission, drivetrain, fuel type, doors, and fuel economy.

Optionally decode the VIN

Enter a 17-character VIN and select Decode. LotPress contacts the NHTSA vPIC service only when an authorized editor selects this button. Review every returned value; decoded fields remain editable and are not saved until you save or publish the vehicle.

Add and arrange photos

1. Add vehicle photos with the vehicle photo manager.
2. Drag images into the order shoppers should see them.
3. Choose the primary image used on vehicle cards.
4. Use clear landscape photos with a consistent aspect ratio across the inventory.

If no usable photo is available, LotPress displays its bundled vehicle placeholder.

Set availability and publish

Set availability to Available, Pending, or Sold. Enable Feature this vehicle when it should appear in featured-only grids or carousels. Add standard and custom features, preview the listing, and select Publish.
