Supported destination fields

Supported destinations include External ID, VIN, stock number, year, make, model, trim, body style, condition, price, MSRP/list price, mileage, colors, engine, transmission, drivetrain, fuel type, doors, city and highway economy, status, featured state, description, specifications, features, and photo URLs.

External ID controls feed identity. Other mapped values become feed-authoritative and are reapplied on successful runs.

A pipe-delimited file displayed as one column usually has the wrong saved delimiter.

Map flattened XML paths

Set the repeating element, such as vehicle or listing. Nested values become dot-separated paths and attributes use @.

Selection is element-name based, not XPath. DTD/entity declarations are rejected, and mixed-content XML is not a target format.

Combine and normalize values

CSV mappings may join source fields with ||, especially primary and additional photo columns. Different XML paths cannot currently be joined into one value.

• VIN is uppercased and cleaned.
• Prices and mileage become numeric.
• Common condition, certification, status, transmission, drivetrain, and fuel descriptions normalize to LotPress values.
• Unknown or missing status becomes Available.
• Features and photos are cleaned and de-duplicated.
• An empty mapped value removes that feed-owned value on update.

Reuse mappings with presets

Presets contain parser, mapping, photo, and safety settings. They exclude URLs, credentials, Source identifier, automatic-sync state, and inventory data.

Exports are UTF-8 JSON. Imports are limited to 256 KB, validated and sanitized, and never run automatically. Applying a preset preserves connection identity and credentials; always preview the actual customer feed.
