Use saved, recent, and shared vehicles

Understand the two vehicle lists

• Recently viewed: a vehicle is added when its detail page opens, up to 20 vehicles.
• Saved vehicles: the shopper deliberately saves a listing, up to 50 vehicles.

Both lists stay in that browser. They are not associated with an account, stored in WordPress, or transmitted to LotPress. Clearing browser site data removes them.

Use the My vehicles drawer

The storefront drawer gives shoppers access to saved and recently viewed listings. They can reopen a vehicle, remove an individual entry, or clear either list. If a vehicle is no longer public, its stored entry may remain until the shopper removes it or clears the list.

Place save and sharing controls

Open Inventory → Vehicle Display and position the Save and share section. It includes the save control plus Facebook, X, and Pinterest links for the current public vehicle URL.

Test sharing with a published vehicle that has a primary photo. LotPress Inventory supplies vehicle-specific social metadata so supported platforms can build a useful preview.

Explain the privacy behavior

Saved and recent lists use browser-local storage. The feature does not create tracking cookies, user profiles, or dealership-visible browsing histories. Social-sharing destinations receive the normal information sent when a visitor chooses to open those external services.
